About the Royal LePage Shelter Foundation

Founded in 1998, the foundation describes itself as Canada’s largest public foundation dedicated exclusively to women’s shelters and violence prevention. Royal LePage agents contribute a portion of their commissions and offices hold fundraising events; Royal LePage covers administrative costs so all donations go to the cause, and funds stay in the community where they were raised. It has raised more than $57 million, supports about 200 shelters, and was the founding partner of the Fourth R schools program.
